Church Safety
The number of church shootings and other emergency incidents on church campuses is on the increase every year. Churches do have to take this seriously. Local experts from police and fire departments will provide the best consultation for churches to create emergency operation plans.
The Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security has provided the following resources for our churches to use as they begin to think about these issues:
- Church Vulnerability Assessment (WORD document)
- Emergency Operations Plan for Houses of Worship (PDF document)
- Reference Information (PDF document)
