CONGREGATIONS CAN NOW OFFER CREDIT UNION MEMBERSHIP

The employees and family members of the United Methodist Conference, its churches and affiliated agencies are eligible to join Oklahoma Federal Credit Union, the credit union the Oklahoma United Methodist Federal Credit Union merged with in 1995. 

Now, congregations are also able to join with approval by the leadership of that church. A short letter is all that is needed to offer members of your congregation this very beneficial relationship. Four Oklahoma City churches and one Edmond church have already signed up for this program and have received positive feedback from participants.

Offering credit union membership costs nothing and has no contractual obligations. It’s a simple way to give your members additional financial options.

Oklahoma Conference ministers, both active and retired, along with church employees and members of their families are eligible to join the Oklahoma Federal Credit Union.  (This is the credit union with which the Oklahoma United Methodist Federal Credit Union merged in 1995.)
